April 30th: Mohamed Elrayyes graduates with a MEng from the Advanced Medical Product Engineering and Development (AMPED) program. Congrats, Mohamed! 


April 23rd-25th: Sonja Danon attended the AAP/ASCI/APSA Joint Meeting in Chicago, IL.


April 9th-12th, 2025: Mary Dickenson and Sydney Wheeler attended SFB in Chicago, IL. Both are supported by the Rackham Conference Travel Grant.


March 17th, 2025: The PRIME Lab's recent publication is highlighted in Nature Reviews Neurology! 


February 12th, 2025: The PRIME Lab's first paper on using new approaches to help understand multiple sclerosis is published! 


September 27th, 2024: Clea Seman, a first year Master's student in the Biomedical Engineering department joins the lab. Welcome, Clea!


September 27th, 2024: The PRIME lab welcomes Angelina Tomassini, Joy Li, Jovanna Gallegos, 

Hussein Nasserdine, and Connor Joyce, all undergraduate students at the university. Welcome everyone! 


September 17th, 2024: Shivanie Kodikalla joins the lab! Shivanie is a second year BME PhD student and we are excited to welcome her to the lab. 


June 25th-28th, 2024: Mary Dickenson, Gabi Garza, and Sydney Wheeler attended TERMIS in Seattle, WA. All three are supported by the Rackham Conference Travel Grant. 


May 16th, 2024: Sydney Wheeler passes her qualifying exam. Congratulations, Sydney!

October 16, 2023: Aaron Morris wins DARPA Young Faculty Award!


August 7, 2023: Sonja Danon joins the lab! Sonja is in Cellular and Molecular Biology and is the lab's first MSTP student. Welcome, Sonja!


August 1, 2023: Lab wins a National Psoriasis Foundation Discovery Grant to study immunological niches in psoriatic arthritis.


July 1, 2023: Gabi Garza wrote and won an R00 NIBIB Research Supplement to support Diversity in STEM. Congrats, Gabi!


April 25, 2023: Sydney Wheeler and Mary Dickenson are selected to join the TEAM T32 training grant. Congratulations!


March 29, 2023: Mary Dickenson and Sydney Wheeler each win Rackham Graduate Student Research Grants! Congratulations to you both!


January 20, 2023: First collaborative paper from the PRIME lab (in collaboration with Dr. Asma Nusrat's group) is out in PNAS! https://www.pnas.org/doi/10.1073/pnas.2218162120


December 1, 2022: The first three PhD students officially join the lab: Mary Dickenson, Gabi Garza, Sydney Wheeler. All are from the Department of Biomedical Engineering. Welcome! We are thrilled to have them join and excited to see their theses develop! 


September 1, 2022: The PRIME lab welcomes it's first undergraduate student, Arunika Shee. Welcome Arunika!
